In the meeting of the Governing Council, it has been decided that all league matches will be held in Mumbai while where the play-off matches will be played will be decided later. According to BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla, IPL 2022 will start from March 26 and IPL will be played in Maharashtra this year. We are sure that some percentage of the spectators will be allowed in the stadium and we will follow the guidelines given by the government.

Out of 70 league matches, 55 matches will be played in Mumbai while 15 matches will be played in Pune. All these matches will be played in four stadiums in which 20 matches will be played at Wankhede Stadium, 15 matches will be played at Braban Stadium, 20 matches will be played at DY Patil Stadium and 15 matches will be played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Ground, Pune.
