Jeff Bezos company Blue Origin crashes during rocket launch, the incident is being investigated

The Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement that the rocket crashed to Earth without causing any damage. The FAA also said it would investigate the incident. This rocket is from Jeff Bezos's company Blue Origin.

The rocket of Jeff Bezos' space travel company Blue Origin crashes during launch on Monday. The New Shepard rocket suffered a crash about a minute after its launch from West Texas, but the capsule carrying the experiment managed to go ahead under the safety of a parachute. The rocket unexpectedly fired its single engine. It also distanced itself from its booster and forced its emergency abort system to kick in during a crewless mission. 

The accident occurred while the rocket was traveling at about 700 mph (1,126 kph) at an altitude of about 28,000 feet (8,500 m). No video was shown of the rocket that crashed.

This incident will be investigated

The Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement that the rocket crashed to Earth without causing any damage. The FAA also said it would investigate the incident. 

That was before the New Shepard rocket could return to flight, the statement said. The FAA will determine whether any procedures related to the accident affect safety. Also said that these are standard practice for all accident investigation.

Let us tell you that this was the 23rd flight for the New Shepard program, which was named after the first American Mercury astronaut Alan Shepard in space. This was the ninth flight for this particular rocket capsule pair. Which was completely devoted to new experiments. 

The rocket was supposed to launch about two weeks ago, but was put on hold until Monday due to bad weather.
