Some members jumped into the water after the fire

According to Willard Molenaar of the Royal Dutch Rescue Company, he was the first to arrive at the scene after receiving information about the fire. He said the fire spread so fast that seven crew members jumped into the water. Molenaar said some people were also injured after jumping too low into the water, while one crew member died due to burns.
 

The injured on board were rescued

Explain that after a fierce fire on the ship, 23 crew members have been taken out with the help of a helicopter. Local Dutch officials said the injured were being treated. Coast Guard spokesman Edwin Granman said rescue teams were currently working to extinguish the fire. In addition, Japanese company Shui Kisen said it was working closely with Dutch authorities to extinguish the fire.
