North Korea again fired ballistic missiles towards eastern waters areas, the sixth launch in the past two weeks

North Korea once again fired ballistic missiles on Thursday. According to information given by the South Korean army, North Korea has fired missiles towards the east. This is North Korea's sixth missile launch in less than two weeks. South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said that the missile was fired on Thursday morning. But he has not given any further information in this regard. 

Missile launch over Tokyo

Earlier on Tuesday, North Korea fired a ballistic missile over Japan's capital Tokyo. After which the government of the country had issued an alert among the people. This was the first time in five years that North Korea fired a missile over Japan. Experts believe the missile fired on Tuesday was a medium-range missile capable of reaching the US Pacific region of Guam and beyond. 

Four missiles launched

The US and South Korea launched four missiles off the eastern coast of the Korean peninsula on Wednesday morning. Which was in response to North Korea's launch of a ballistic missile at Japan. Earlier on Tuesday, the US and South Korea responded to the launch with a bombing exercise that involved a South Korean F-15K fighter jet.
