Old Rajendra Nagar coaching centre accident: Hearing in Delhi High Court today on demand for high-level investigation
Delhi Coaching Incident A high level investigation of the Old Rajendra Nagar incident has been demanded from the High Court. The petition of an organization named Kutumb will be heard in the Delhi High Court today. On the other hand, the Home Ministry has formed a committee to investigate the accident that took place at Rao Coaching Center. This committee will identify the causes of the accident and submit its report within 30 days.
(Rau Coaching Centre Incident) An organization named Kutumb has knocked the door of Delhi High Court demanding a high-level inquiry into the coaching center accident. Advocate Rudra Vikram Singh, on behalf of the organization, raised the matter before the bench of Acting Chief Justice Manmohan and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela.
Demand for formation of a committee also arose
The court directed to list the case for hearing on Wednesday. Kutumb Sanstha has made Delhi Government, MCD and DDA parties in the PIL filed in the High Court. The petition states that the incident is the result of corruption and failure of civil service officers of the national capital.
A district level committee should be formed in each district
The petition also demands the formation of a committee to investigate illegal coaching institutes not following the norms and prepare a report. The petition demands the formation of a district level committee in each district of Delhi so that illegal commercial construction in the respective district can be investigated.
In this, a demand has been made to direct the officials to submit the action report as per the instructions of the coordination bench of the High Court regarding the incident of fire in the coaching center in Mukherjee Nagar.
