This accident happened near the capital of Lithuania. The plane crashed on top of a house, one person is reported dead in this accident.

Three people on board the plane survived in this accident. LRT quoted officials as saying that after the accident, two people were taken to the hospital, while one was declared dead. This accident with the cargo plane happened on top of a two-storey house near the airport. Some people are also reported to be injured in the accident.

DHL cargo plane crashed

The Lithuania Airport Authority has identified the plane as a DHL cargo plane flying from Leipzig, Germany to Vilnius Airport. Immediately after the incident, fire service was provided on the spot. Along with this, other emergency services were sent to the spot. In the initial investigation, the reason for the crash of the plane could not be ascertained yet.

There was no reaction from the company on the plane crash.

Police Commissioner General Pozela gave information about this incident. He said that this plane fell at some distance from the airport. After the crash, this plane slid for about 100 meters. At the same time, some part of the plane hit a residential house, due to which some parts of the house caught fire. However, immediately after this incident, the people living in the house were able to come out.

Some reports claim that flight-tracking data shows the plane attempted to land by turning north of the airport before crashing about a mile short of the runway.
