Russia-Ukraine War: Exchange of war prisoners between Russia-Ukraine, release of dozens of soldiers from both the countries

Dozens of prisoners of war were exchanged between the two countries during the Russia-Ukraine war. Officers from both sides exchanged their prisoners of war. Andrey Yermak, a top aide to the Ukrainian president, said on Saturday that 116 Ukrainian prisoners had been freed.

Ukrainian soldiers were trapped during the war in many areas

A presidential aide said the prisoners of war released included soldiers who had been in Mariupol during Russia's months-long siege. Let us tell you that Russia has made this city ruins. Release of 63 Russian soldiers

Meanwhile, Russian defense officials announced that 63 Russian servicemen had returned from Ukraine after an exchange between the two countries, including some special category prisoners whose release was secured after mediation by the United Arab Emirates.

However, the statement issued by the Russian Defense Ministry on Saturday did not give details about these special categories of detainees. 

Three civilians died in Ukraine in 24 hours

At the same time, in the ongoing war between the two countries, at least three citizens of Ukraine were killed in the last 24 hours. According to the information, the Russian army attacked nine places in the south, north and east regions of Ukraine.

On the other hand, Russian shelling and missile attacks killed two people and injured 14 others in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region.
