Russia: west's 'Hybrid War' won't Stop Moscow, Russia to make sure protection of rights of Russians living in Ukraine
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in the annual press conference that Ukraine is determined against us with the help of Western countries. Taking advantage of this confrontation, Western countries want to weaken Russia.
Russia will continue to achieve its goals in Ukraine despite the hybrid war being waged by the West against Moscow. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Moscow's ongoing special military operation in Ukraine aims to achieve certain legitimate concerns of Russia. It will be done by all means. Ukraine may not have such military resources that could cause direct harm to our country. But Russia wants to make sure that the rights of Russians living in Ukraine are protected.
Russian speakers should be protected: Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin argued for sending troops to Ukraine on February 24, saying that this was done to demobilize Ukraine and reduce Nazi influence over it. So that neighboring countries can be prevented from joining NATO and Russian language speakers living there can be protected. Ukraine and its Western allies have rejected this argument, calling the attack an act of unprovoked anger.
Zelenskyy's demands rejected
At an annual press conference, Lavrov rejected Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy's demand for Russia's complete withdrawal from Ukraine. They also rejected demands for war damages and prosecution of war criminals for future negotiations.
The west is making all the decisions
Lavrov alleged that all the decisions of Ukraine are being taken by Western countries. So that this confrontation can be used to destroy Russia. NATO members have provided military logistics to Ukraine. Looking at the help being provided by the West, it can be clearly said that they have invested a lot against Russia. It is the West that is making decisions for and without Ukraine.
We are ready to end the confrontation: Putin
He said Russia's actions in Ukraine are a response to the hybrid war launched by the West against us. We are ready to take seriously any initiative by the West to end the conflict but we have not received any such proposal so far. Future talks with representatives of Western countries will not be limited to Ukraine only.
