Cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar shares the story behind taking an autograph from MS Dhoni in the show of Star Sports. During this, Gavaskar gets emotional remembering that moment. Gavaskar shared the second last wish and said- I would also like to see that moment of 1983, when Kapil lifted the World Cup. Cricket fans have probably seen the Little Master being emotional like this for the first time. It seemed that he would cry on LIVE TV.

Why did Gavaskar take Dhoni's autograph:- 

Little Master Sunil Gavaskar also brought his shirt during the show, on which he had taken MS Dhoni's autograph. Why did you take MSD's autograph?

On this, he told the whole story in a sequential manner. Gavaskar said- When I came to know that he is going to take a lap of honor (round the ground) in Chennai, because it was the last match for him at the league level in Chennai.

That's when it came to my mind that why shouldn't I also take an autograph on the shirt. When I went to Mahi, I requested him for an autograph. It was a very emotional moment for me. Gavaskar further said that there's nothing that Doni hasn't done for cricket. 

On May 14, Chennai played it's match against Kolkata Knight Riders, when Sunil Gavaskar took MS Dhoni's autograph while going round the ground.
