Taapsee Pannu turned out better than Aamir-Akshay, in three days 'again' earned so many crores
Recently released Taapsee Pannu's film 'Dobaara' is earning better than Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar's films at the box office. Taapsee has done excellent acting in the film.
Taapsee Pannu's film "Dobaara" is doing well at the box office. The film has collected 2.5 crores in its opening weekend. The film was released in theaters on August 19 after being premiered at several international film festivals. Anurag Kashyap has directed this film. The film had earned a little more than 1 crore after opening only 72 lakhs on the second day of its release.
'Regain' is earning well
Taapsee Pannu's film has reportedly done a business of around Rs 90 lakh on the third day of its release. Taapsee Pannu's film 'Shabash Mithu', which released in July, had earned Rs 90 lakh in its first day and over Rs 1.5 crore in three days. Whereas Mitari Raj's official biopic sports drama started very rarely. It did a business of only 40 lakhs across the country.
Earnings of 'Dagara' faded on the third day
According to a report, 'Dagaara' failed to grow much on the third day of release. At the same time, it earned less on the second day as well. The film received good reviews from critics and audience alike. However, even after this, the collection of 'Dobaara' for the first weekend was Rs 2.5 crore. Many celebs like Elli Avram and Kubra Sait also praised the film for this film and asked to see it. This film by Ekta Kapoor is the official Hindi remake of a Spanish thriller film 'Miraj'. This film has been made on the basis of Time Journey. Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati are in lead roles in this film.
Aamir-Akshay's films proved to be laggy
Apart from this, Aamir Khan's recently released film 'Lal Singh Chaddha' has not shown the amazing performance that everyone was expecting at the box office. The film has also faced issues like boycott on social media. 10 days have passed since the release of the film, but till now the film has not earned what was expected. At the same time, Akshay Kumar's film 'Raksha Bandhan' has also become a disaster at the box office. People had high expectations from this film too. The film based on sisters and brother was directed by Aanand L Rai.
Taapsee beat Aamir-Akshay
Overall, Taapsee Pannu's film 'Dobaara' has given tough competition to Aamir Khan's film 'Lal Singh Chaddha' and Akshay Kumar's film 'Rakshabandhan' and is doing better business than them.
