Apple releases latest developer beta update, you can now use Apple Intelligence features

Apple had announced Apple Intelligence in its mega event WWDC 2024 this year. Along with this, the company has released the first developer beta update of iOS 18.1 iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1. This means that developers can now use the features of Apple Intelligence. However, only a few features will be available at the initial stage.

Apple has released the first developer beta update of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1. For developers, the company has introduced the initial version of Apple Intelligence features. With this, this is the first time that developers will be able to test the entry of Apple's generative AI on their devices. The new betas that run with iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia 15 beta are available for only a few specific devices. Eligible hardware includes iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models, iPads with M1 chips and newer chips, and Apple Silicon Macs.

These tools are not available with Apple Intelligence features

With Apple Intelligence features, features like writing tools for text improvement, better features to Siri, smart email and message functions, advanced photo search have been introduced. Let us tell you, this beta does not include Image Playground, Zenmoji, ChatGPT integration and some advanced capabilities of Siri. Apple is planning to release additional features of Apple Intelligence with regular updates.

No announcement has been made regarding the public beta

There is a lot of enthusiasm among the users about these new features coming with Apple Intelligence. However, it will be necessary to understand here that Apple Intelligence will still be present in the beta stage. The company has not yet made any official announcement regarding the public beta of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1.

Interestingly, Apple has said that devices in the EU may not get Apple Intelligence as there may be some trouble with the interoperability requirements of the Digital Markets Act. However, the company is trying to find a solution in collaboration with the European Union.
