Bigg Boss 16: Swati Maliwal demands Sajid Khan's removal from the show, writes letter to Union Ministry

Commission for Women Chairperson Swati Maliwal has demanded the removal of Sajid Khan from the TV reality show Bigg Boss 16. Referring to the serious allegations of female exploitation against Sajid, she has written a letter on Union Minister Anurag Thakur.

Bigg Boss 16:  Sajid Khan, brother of Bollywood's famous choreographer Farah Khan, is in the news these days for his entry in Bigg Boss. His entry in the reality show is being opposed everywhere. Now Delhi Commission for Women President Swati Maliwal has raised questions about Sajid Khan's entry in the show and she has written a letter to Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur urging her to remove Sajid from the show.

Delhi Women's Commission member Swati Maliwal has posted a copy of the letter on her Twitter handle about writing a letter to the Sports Minister. Opposing Sajid Khan's entry in this tweet, he wrote, "Sajid Khan was accused of sexual harassment by 10 women during the #MeeToo campaign. All these complaints show the disgusting mentality of Sajid. Now such a person has been given a place in Bigg Boss, which is completely wrong. I have written a letter to Anurag Thakur ji demanding the removal of Sajid Khan from the show.

Fans supported the decision 

At the same time, people are also giving their feedback on Swati Maliwal's tweet and are demanding Sajid Khan's expulsion from the show. Before the chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women, actresses also expressed their displeasure by questioning Sajid Khan's entry in the show.

Recently, actress Kamya Punjabi shared a clip of Bigg Boss, in which Sajid is giving a statement about TV actors. Retweeting this clip, the actress wrote, We think, we know this is our world, we have created this world with our hard work with our passion and our audience, fans are our strength, so you must be a father but TV's No. Here in Bigg Boss, you are also a contestant like everyone else. 

These actresses have also expressed their opposition

Sona Mohapatra, Janice Sequeira and Barkha Dutt had objected to Sajid Khan's entry in Bigg Boss by tweeting. Let us tell you that during the #MeeToo campaign in the year 2018, not one or two but nine women made serious allegations of sexual abuse against Sajid Khan. In which many Bollywood actresses like Mandana Karimi and Sherlyn Chopra are involved.
