Chinese government engaged in suppressing criticism on Corona policy, social media accounts of many people suspended

There is an outcry in China over the Corona virus. The situation has become so bad that voices are being raised against the government on social media. Meanwhile, now China has suspended or closed more than a thousand social media accounts criticizing the government on the increasing cases of COVID.

The country's popular Sina Weibo social media platform reported that 12,854 violations were reported, including attacks on experts, scholars and medical workers. In view of this, China has temporarily or permanently banned 1,120 accounts. 

Direct criticism is not allowed in China

The ruling Communist Party in China had taken important steps such as lockdown, quarantine measures and mass testing to control the corona, but last month the government relaxed the rules to a great extent. After which new cases of large scale infection were reported in the country. The party does not allow direct criticism and also imposes strict limits on free speech. 

The company will continue to eliminate all illegal content

Sina Weibo said in a statement on Thursday that the company will continue to investigate and clean up all kinds of illegal content. In addition, the site will create a harmonious and friendly community environment for all users. The open-ended travel restrictions in China have been the focus of criticism.

People were forced to stay in their homes for weeks, sometimes without even getting enough food or medical care. Also fueling public anger is the fact that anyone who catches the infection is kept under observation in a field hospital, where overcrowding, poor food and hygiene are common questions. 

America estimates, so far more than one million deaths in China

Although the Chinese government releases the number of infected and deaths due to corona every day, but the official figures are very less. The National Health Commission reported 10,681 new cases on Sunday, taking the total number of cases in the country to 482,057.

At the same time, with three new deaths in the last 24 hours, the total number of people who died of Kovid in the country increased to 5,267. At the same time, America believes that so far more than one million people have died due to Corona in China. Same, more than one crore people are infected. The United Nations had also expressed concern about the Chinese figure. 

Very bad condition of the hospitals

In addition, recent media reports stated that the condition of hospitals in the country's capital, Beijing, is very poor. Patients were lying on stretchers in the hall for treatment. At the same time, some people were taking oxygen while sitting on wheelchairs. Chuiyanglu Hospital was filled with new patients on Thursday. By noon all the beds were over. At the same time, the ambulance continued to bring more patients.
