Donald Trump: many criminal charges against a former US President for the first time, will Trump go to jail?

Donald Trump Hush money case: US President Donald Trump's troubles are not taking the name of stopping. There is a presidential election next year i.e. 2024, but instead of preparing for the election, Trump is seen going round the court in the case of criminal charges.

Case of paying a porn star

A New York grand jury indicted Trump on March 31 for secretly paying a porn star during his 2016 presidential campaign. It was claimed that Trump was in a relationship with porn star Stormy Daniels in 2006. According to Daniels, she first met Trump in 2006 at a charity golf tournament around California and Nevada.

Trump promised to make Stormi a TV star. According to Stormy, there was a relationship between Trump and him. However, Trump has denied that he has done any such thing.

Porn star Stormy Daniels said that Trump had asked her to hide their relationship but in 2011 she sold her story to a magazine. At that time, Trump was busy preparing for the presidential election campaign.

Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, admitted that Daniels was paid $130,000 to keep quiet:- The American newspaper had disclosed this. In 2018, he also pleaded guilty to violations of federal campaign finance laws, including tax and bank fraud. 

He also testified that the Trump Organization gave Cohen money to pay Daniels. March 15, 2023 Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen testified on the matter for three hours on March 15. At the same time, on March 18, Trump had expressed apprehension on social media that he may be arrested in the beginning of this month. 

Will Trump go to jail? Apart from hush money, Trump is facing these allegations

Presidential elections are going to be held in America next year. Trump has again staked his claim in this election. But his difficulties are increasing due to criminal charges. Trump has termed all the allegations against him as 'political harassment'.
