Gold in the global market
On the last trading day of the previous week, both the gold futures and spot prices closed higher on the global level. According to Bloomberg, the global futures price of gold on Friday rose 0.43 percent or $ 7.40 to $ 1,734.70 an ounce on Comex. In addition, the global spot gold prices rose 0.32 per cent, or $ 5.59, to close at $ 1,732.52 an ounce on Friday.
Silver in the global market
On Friday, the last trading day of the week, silver futures closed higher in the global market, with the spot price unchanged. According to Bloomberg, silver prices of May 2021 futures closed 0.25 percent, or $ 0.07, up at $ 25.11 an ounce on Comex on Friday.
