Horrible situation in China, more than 70 lakh people infected by COVID-19 daily, more than 4000 deaths per day
80% of China's 1.4 billion population already infected, there is a possibility of a massive resurgence of COVID-19 during the next two or three months. According to government figures, on January 12, about 60,000 people had died in the hospital.
China's Center for Disease Control and Prevention said on Wednesday that China's daily COVID-19 infection cases had exceeded 7 million around December 22, while the number of deaths neared 4,000 a day on January 4.
