Even before this, Hrithik has made many eds with Zomato, but his latest ed is now in discussion. Due to the latest advertisement of the actor, he has been accused of hurting religious sentiments. Now Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has demanded police action on this.
Actually, in the latest advertisement done by Zomato company, Hrithik is seen in different cities of the country. He is sitting in a military uniform in a van of the security forces. Then suddenly the door of the van rings, then all the soldiers point guns there. As soon as the door is opened, the delivery boy is seen standing in front of the packed food. In the news quoted by PTI, Narottam Mishra has said that the advertisement being circulated on social media seems to be morphed. Let us tell you that the priests of Mahakal temple have also expressed strong opposition to this advertisement. They say that the Mahakal temple does not deliver any thali. Zomato and Hrithik Roshan apologize on this ad.
Narottam Mishra ordered an inquiry
Further, Narottam Mishra said that, "I have asked the Superintendent of Police of Ujjain to check the reality of the video and report it to me so that action can be initiated against the culprits." This decision of the state Home Minister as police to look into the matter came after the priests of Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain objected to the advertisement of online food delivery company.
Priests of mahakaleshwar temple appealed for apology
Let us tell you that two priests of Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain had appealed to withdraw the advertisement on Saturday, alleging that the advertisement hurts Hindu sentiments. Along with this, he also appealed to Zomato to apologize. The priests have claimed that, “Prasad is served on a plate to the devotees and the advertisement hurts the sentiments of Hindus.”
