Rohit Sharma had said in the press conference before the pre-match that, “Pakistan team is a very challenging team. All the Pakistani teams I have played in from 2007 to 2022 have been good. If we look back at the performance of the Indian team, then for the last several years, India has failed to win any major ICC tournament. On the other hand, Pakistan has been consistently performing well against India for a few years.

Captain Rohit Sharma said on the possibility of rain, “We need to get into the field thinking that it is a 40-over game. If circumstances change, we will be ready for it. A lot of people have played these kinds of games before and they know how to handle themselves in a situation like this.
