Independence Day Celebration 2021: Red Fort will celebrate Independence Day, forgetting the bitter memories of Republic Day

Forgetting the bitter memories of Republic Day, the country's pride, the Red Fort, will now celebrate Independence Day. The Red Fort, which was vandalized on January 26 during the protest against agricultural laws, has been rectified by the Archaeological Survey of India on Independence Day. Forgetting the pain, the Red Fort is now ready to celebrate Independence Day. Now it is waiting for the national event, when many personalities will gather here. The Prime Minister will come here and address the nation.

The Red Fort, a 400-year-old monument, was heavily damaged by the riots on Republic Day. The miscreants had destroyed the ticket counter of the Red Fort. The entire glass, computers, CCTV cameras installed there were broken. All the seven turnstile gates (automated gates that open on entering the token) were broken for the tourists to enter the fort. Light was vandalized. The people of the country remember the shameful incident that took place on 26 January when the miscreants captured the Red Fort.

Not only this, the miscreants had put up their flag with the tricolor waving all the time between the urns on seven domes at the Lahori Gate, which is called the crown of the Red Fort. Out of these seven urns, the miscreants also took off the urns from the two domes on either side of the tricolor.

Let us inform that during that time the then Union Culture and Tourism Minister Prahlad Patel also reached the spot at that time and expressed grief over the incident. The report of this case was submitted by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to the Ministry of Home Affairs. However, both the urns taken out from the dome could not be taken away by the miscreants. They were found a few days later kept in the Red Fort complex. Now all kinds of sabotage have been rectified by the ASI. Turnstile gates have been fixed. Lights and CCTV have been fixed. Both the removed urns have also been installed by skilled craftsmen.
