5G service launch program was held at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. Apart from PM Modi, Union Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Bharti Airtel Chairman Sunil Mittal also participated in this. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi enumerated the merits of 5G and told about the benefits to the public. Along with this, Mukesh Ambani and Sunil Mittal also told the plans of their companies regarding 5G.
On the occasion of the launch of 5G services, Mukesh Ambani, chairman of the country's largest company Reliance Industries, said that 5G is much more than the next generation connectivity technology. With this, he said that it will help develop the full potential of 21st new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Robotics, Blockchain and Metaverse.
5G service will help in making education affordable in the country. With this we can also make healthcare services better and convert our hospital into a smart hospital. Describing Jio's 5G plans, he said that by December 2023, we will connect every district and tehsil of the country with 5G services.
Bharti Airtel Chairman Sunil Mittal said on the launch of 5G services that this is the beginning of a new era. With the advent of 5G services, new opportunities for development will open up for the people of the country. This will also increase prosperity in rural India. With the launch of 5G services, Airtel has started 5G service including Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. By March 2024, the countrymen will be able to avail Airtel's 5G service across India.
