Is Pakistan's nuclear arsenal is in dangerous hands? Neighbouring countries army responded

Recently, US President Joe Biden called nuclear-armed Pakistan one of the most dangerous countries in the world. Responding to this, top officials of the Pakistan Army have expressed full confidence in the country's 'strong' nuclear command and said that necessary steps have been taken to protect the country's strategic assets.

Said this while talking to Democratic MPs

Last Friday in Los Angeles, President Biden presented three problems related to China, Russia and Pakistan as three challenges to America's foreign policy. He had said that I think Pakistan is one of the most dangerous countries in the world, which has nuclear weapons and there is no harmony. The US President's remarks were made in the context of the changing geopolitical situation globally.

252nd Corps Commanders' Conference held in Rawalpindi

The media wing of the Pakistan Army said in a statement after the 252nd Corps Commanders' Conference that the Forum expressed full confidence in Pakistan's strong nuclear command, control structure and security arrangements relating to the country's strategic assets. The conference was held at the General Headquarters of the Pakistan Army in Rawalpindi, presided over by General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Army reviews current internal and external security situation

As a responsible nuclear weapon state, Pakistan has taken all necessary steps in line with international best practices to strengthen its nuclear security regime, the statement said. The participants of the Corps Commanders' Conference also reviewed the current internal and external security situation and operational preparedness of the Army. The meeting was also apprised of the military's assistance to the civil administration for relief and rehabilitation efforts in the flood-affected areas of the country, especially in Sindh and Balochistan provinces.

Pakistan denies Biden's remarks

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday dismissed Biden's remarks on the country's nuclear weapons security as "factually incorrect and misleading". After the statement, the Pakistan Foreign Ministry had summoned the ambassador in charge of the US in Islamabad and the government's displeasure was expressed with him. Pakistan is constantly trying to repair its relations with America. In such a situation, it is a matter of great embarrassment for Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, because just last month he had visited America with Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto.
