A spokesman for the Quebec provincial police told CNN that emergency services were called at 2 a.m. to the accident in Portneuf-sur-Mer, a riverside municipality on the north coast. The spokesman said that around 11 people had gone missing after they were hit by high tide while fishing. Of those 11, six were rescued and five remained untraceable overnight.
