Music team of the web series ‘Perfect Strangers’ sharing their experiences.

Perfect Strangers, is a story of a young love, laughter, friendship and betrayal filled with emotional, entertaining and engrossing moments. 

The director duo Mandar Sudhakar Khare and Akshata Gaigaware have geared up for their directorial debut with the web series, "Perfect Strangers" which will hit OTT platforms by October 2022. The romantic drama is backed by Evasion Studios. This series will be having 10 episodes with a total viewing time of approximately 2.5 hours, revolves around four characters touching upon online dating and their remedies through an entertaining narrative. 

What’s interesting about this series is that it would feature a soundtrack of 4 singers from diverse backgrounds.

 “Working on ‘Perfect Strangers’ was a beautiful experience. I had taken a conscious break from writing lyrics for movies because I was not able to connect with the entire process. I am glad to be back in the industry with Mandar and Mandar who made the songs and lyrics such an integral part of the narrative of the web series. As said by many top tier directors from the industry all over the world “sound completes a film or sound is 80% of a film”, Mandar Sudhakar Khare is of quite the same opinion. After finishing his studies from National Film and Television school, Bristol this opinion became the backbone of mandar Khare approach towards film making. The dubbing and sound engineering of Perfect strangers is being handled by Piyush Dattatray Dixit and the sound design, BGM (Background Music) and original music for the Project is being handled by Abhijit Ijate. 

Piyush Dattatray Dixit A.K.A Pyro3 has studied Audio and Music technology at Cambridge school of creative industries (Anglia Ruskin university) in Cambridge, UK. He worked with various Artists all over the globe creating and producing Studio Albums and Audio for film Projects. He started his career in music with Mandar Sudhakar Khare working together on their first project in 2012 for a music video for Pyro3(Artist name). Piyush Dattatray Dixit and Mandar Sudhakar Khare have been like minded and have been good friends even before they started working together. Piyush and Mandar have worked together on various projects Produced and Handled by The Evasion Studios.

As said by Piyush “Mandar has a Power of making people understand and work for them with his personality and work ethics”. 

When asked about why Piyush Dixit was interested in working on Perfect Strangers, Piyush said “When Mandar Approached me with the Project, I went into the story like it was my own, and loved it” he also said “Working with Mandar khare has always been my go-to. As the appeal mandar creates being on the set and in the studios makes a difference.” He also stated that the project had big potential and wanted to be a part of it given a chance. 

Mandar Sudhakar Khare and Akshata Gaigaware worked as a team delivering exquisite inputs even at the dubbing sessions (At the The Sounds Hub Studios) and this made the sessions Fun and Productive. 

Aditya Panse lead singer of band ARDRA and the composer of title track of the web series ‘Perfect Strangers’ said, “Whenever I work on any song, I always find the written script and shot script different, but this one had a unique sync between the script and the way it was shot. It was the same vibe so there wasn't a need for rework and I was emotionally involved in the script and the silence in between spoke so much, that it had a specific dynamic in the narrative and that’s done wonderfully”.
