Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan appeared in the Lahore High Court on Monday. The court granted him protective bail in a case related to the violent protest outside the Election Commission. This bail has been granted till March 3. The sword of arrest was hanging over him, to avoid which he had reached the court. He told the court that he was supposed to appear during the last hearing itself, but the doctor had advised him rest for two weeks. He has always respected the court, as it is the protector of justice. 

Justice Najafi praised Khan

During this, Justice Najafi praised Khan for obeying the law. At the same time, giving him bail, stopped the police and other agencies from arresting him. A large number of PTI supporters were present in the High Court premises during the hearing. Significantly, after the disqualification of Imran Khan by the Election Commission of Pakistan last year, PTI workers demonstrated violently. 

At the same time, according to ANI, Imran Khan appealed to the Supreme Court on Sunday to hear the petition demanding an investigation into the audio leak. Khan was addressing the nation through video link. He said that the apex court should hear my petition as well. Khan appealed to the judiciary to act against several audio leaks related to him and wife Bushra Bibi.
