Shooting in a house in Colorado, USA, four killed

Four people were killed in a shooting at a house in Aurora, a city in the US state of Colorado, while the suspect is still on the run. The Aurora Police Department (APD) said in a statement on Sunday that it received information about a shooting at the house at around 2 pm, Xinhua news agency reported.

When police arrived three minutes later, they found three men and one woman dead. The accused in the case was identified as 21-year-old Joseph Castorena, who was allegedly an accomplice of the woman killed in the house.

A relative of the deceased woman told the local MSNBC 9 news channel that shots were fired from an ambush. When the victim returned from a party, the accused hid in the house and opened fire.

After the firing, an alert was issued to all the houses while the officers started searching the accused. The APD warned that the suspect was dangerous and may have a gun.
