Shraddha Kapoor is giving one hit film after another at the box office. After Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, now her recent film Stree 2 is also earning a lot at the box office. Shraddha Kapoor, who has given one successful film after another, was offered her first film by Salman Khan at the age of 16, which she turned down.
Shraddha Kapoor is currently enjoying the success of her film 'Stree 2'. Her movie, released on August 15, is wreaking havoc at the box office. The film has reached close to 150 crores by the first weekend itself. Fewer films of Shraddha Kapoor have been released in the last few years, but all the films have done good collections.
Shakti Kapoor's beloved Shraddha has given many superhit films like Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, Baaghi and Street Dancer 3. In the year 2010, she entered the industry with the film 'Teen Patti', but do you know that like Sonakshi Sinha and Sai Manjrekar, Salman Khan also wanted to launch Shraddha Kapoor in Bollywood.
Salman Khan offered her a film at the age of 16
Shraddha Kapoor had told in an old interview given to Hindustan Times that when she was just 16 years old, Salman Khan offered her a movie.
She told that she wanted to complete her studies, that is why she turned down the movie offer. The Stree 2 actress said,
"I think the age of 15-16 is too young to get into this profession and at that time I wanted to complete my schooling and go to college. I don't think the movie offers I got at that time can define my success in any way. However, it was difficult to turn down this offer and focus only on studies, because getting an opportunity to work with Salman Khan is a big deal".
Salman Khan wanted to cast Shraddha Kapoor, not Sneha Ullal
Let us tell you that Salman Khan had offered Shraddha Kapoor the film 'Lucky - No Time for Love' released in the year 2005. There were rumours in the corridors of Bollywood that Salman had cast Sneha Ullal in this movie because she looked similar to Aishwarya Rai.
However, this is not the case, because before Sneha, the offer of the film went to Shraddha and Dabangg Khan wanted to cast a fresh face in the movie.
