Violence in the country began after 17-year-old Nahel, of Nigerian origin, was killed in police firing on June 27. He was running away with his car during police interrogation.

But the right-wing organization Jean Messiah has collected a donation of 1.6 million Euros (Rs 14.33 million) for the policeman's family. The organization has stopped its program following warnings from leftist organizations and Nahel's family.
