Tremendous rise in stock market, Sensex rises above 800 points, Nifty rises above 14750

The stock market opened on the green mark on the first trading day of the week today. The Bombay Stock Exchange's flagship index Sensex gained 398.91 points to open at the level of 49407.41. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange's Nifty opened at a level of 14640.90 with a gain of 133.60 points. Stock markets, foreign exchange markets, bullion and commodity markets closed on Monday on the occasion of Holi. On Friday, the Sensex closed up 568.38 points at 49008.50 and the Nifty gained 182.40 points to close at 14507.30. At 10:21 am, the Sensex was up 786.94 points at 49,795.44 and the Nifty was trading 249.95 points at 14,757.25.

The Sensex opened with a gain of 487.40 points at 48,927.52 on the previous trading day. At the same time, the Nifty opened at 14,477.80, up 152.90 points. Among today's major stocks, shares of all the companies, except Maruti, ITC, Bajaj Auto and M&M, opened on the green mark. The top gainers include Titan, Nestle India, ONGC, Doc Reddy, Hindustan Unilever, NTPC, Asian Paints, TCS, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bharti Airtel, HDFC, etc.
