South Indian film industry's superstars Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna's film 'Warisu' has got caught in a legal tussle even before its release. Actually the makers are accused that they have used five elephants in the shooting of the film without any permission. After which a notice has been issued to the filmmakers. Makers have also been asked to file their reply in this regard within seven days.

As per reports, the makers have been issued show cause notices by the Animal Welfare Board. Issue against him under Section 26 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. In fact, according to the Performing Animals Rules 2001, if you use any animal for shooting in any way, then it is necessary to take permission before that. As of now, no statement has been issued by the makers regarding this.

The film 'Varisu' is directed by popular Telugu filmmaker Vamsi Paidipally. The budget of this film is 200 crores. Apart from actor Thalapathy Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in the lead role. At the same time, artists like Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Sangeeta, Yogi Babu, Prabhu, Sham are also in important roles. The film will be released on January 12, 2023, on the occasion of Pongal.
