Manasi Parekh Gohil is a well-known actress, singer, producer and content creator. She is still remembered for her character Maya in Star Plus's serial Sumit Sambhal Lega Hai and her character Gulaal in the serial Zindagi Ka Har Rang Gulaal. Recently, the actress received the National Award for Best Actress for her Gujarati film Kutch Express.

When Manasi went on stage to receive the award, she became so emotional that she could not stop her tears. During this, President Draupadi Murmu was seen consoling her. Actually, on October 8, artists were honored with the 70th National Film Award at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. During this, while receiving the award, Manasi cried while posing in front of the camera. President Draupadi Murmu encouraged her by placing her hand on her shoulder.

Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty was awarded the most prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Dancer Mithun Chakraborty has been working in films for more than 50 years. Along with Manasi, Nithya Menon also received the Best Actress award. Nithya won this award for her performance in Dhanush's film Thiruchitrambalam. Rishab Shetty received the Best Actor Lead award for Kantara.
