The brutal murder of 28-year-old model Abby Choi has shaken the financial hub. It is known that model Abby Choi Tin-Fung went missing on Wednesday, two days after which several pieces of the model's body were found in a house in Tai Po district. The ex-husband and in-laws of the model have been arrested in this case. South China Morning Post has given this information. 

Body parts found in refrigerator and utensils

Police said on Sunday that the model was allegedly attacked in a seven-seater vehicle, inside which blood splatters were found. Police reached a village in Tai Po district in connection with the investigation in this case, where they found body parts in a fridge and a pot in a house.

Police have also recovered a body part from two large soup pots from the three-storey house. Meat grinders, an electric saw and two soup pots along with human tissue, two types of meat cleavers, a hammer, other tools and a face shield were also recovered. 

Four people were arrested

Model Abby Choi's ex-husband Alex Kwong, her father Kwong Kau and her brother Anthony Kwong were charged with murder a day earlier. Alex Kwong's mother, Jenny Lee, is facing charges of obstructing the investigation in the case. However, these four accused are yet to get bail. The model has two children with ex-husband Alex Kwong Kong-chi. 

Property dispute led to Choi's murder

According to local media reports, Choi's murder may have been caused by an ongoing luxury property dispute with her ex-husband. According to news agency AP, police have said in the case that Choi had financial disputes with her ex-husband and his family worth tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars (millions of dollars).

The model's ex-husband, Alex Kwong Kong-chi, was arrested on Saturday on an island outside the city, CNN quoted police as saying. He was planning to escape the city at the ferry pier. Police recovered HK$500,000 in cash and luxury watches worth about HK$4 million from him.

Were angry with the decision to sell the property

Choi recently sold a property worth 70 million Hong Kong dollars, which angered her former in-laws. For this reason, the former in-laws had allegedly conspired to murder. It is known that Quang's parents and brother have also been detained. Quang, his father and his brother were charged with murder on Sunday. Police have also arrested a 47-year-old woman named Ng in connection with the case. She is suspected of being Quang's father's lover and accused of renting the ground floor of the house where the skull and other body parts were found.
