Prime Minister Narendra Modi drives a car in Europe, away from New Delhi, to mark the launch of 5G mobile services in India today. This has been possible only due to 5G technology. The Prime Minister launched the service while attending the inauguration of the India Mobile Congress 2022. Using 5G technology, Modi drove the car at the Ericsson booth at the India Mobile Conference while the vehicle was physically parked in Sweden.

Mukesh Ambani and Akash Ambani informed PM Modi about the technology at the stall of Reliance Jio. Then PM Modi visited the stalls of Airtel, Vodafone Idea, C-DOT and others, where he learned about 5G technology.
The first phase of 5G will start in 13 cities. Full 5G coverage across the country will be completed by 2024. Internet speed is going to be very fast after 5G technology.
