The London Fire Brigade tweeted that ten fire tenders and about 70 firefighters were trying to douse the fire in the railway arch near Elephant Castle railway station. Please avoid approaching this area and close all doors and windows. People have been advised to avoid this area and keep windows and doors closed. According to the information, four cars and telephone boxes parked at the spot along with three commercial units present in the railway arch are in the grip of fire. Roads in the area have been closed and people are being asked to avoid coming to this side.
