Brahmastra box office collection: Brahmastra breaks the earning record of first day, crossed 100 crores in the weekend
Brahmastra Box Office Collection Day 1 Despite the tremendous atmosphere created on social media against Brahmastra, the film has earned a record break on the first day. It is expected that it will cross 100 crores in the weekend.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's 'Brahmastra' has made a record-breaking debut at the box office in India. According to the initial estimates, the film has earned a bumper on the first day itself. The opening day collection of this film has also left behind films like 'Sanju', 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and 'Dhoom 3' (Before Corona). In Bollywood, no film released this year has earned even half of the collection of 'Brahmastra'.
The benefit of tremendous advance booking
The entire 'Brahmastra' made up of sci-fi and VFX gave a thumbs up to the Boycott gang on the very first day itself. However, it was already clear from the advance booking that the film would cross 30 crores on the first day. The opening day collection of Ayan Mukerji's film is also special because it has been released on a non-Hollywood weekend, that too on Friday. Laal Singh Chaddha and Rakshabandhan were released on Thursday, August 11, a holiday. Due to which the film got 5 days to perform.
Record breaking earnings of the first day
Apart from Alia and Ranbir, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and Shah Rukh Khan in cameo roles. According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, 'Brahmastra' has earned between 36.50 to 38.50 crores on the first day (figures are preliminary, changes are possible). 'Brahmastra' has emerged as the biggest opener among the films released after the Corona period. Earlier in the year 2021, on Diwali, Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi' earned about 37 crores on the first day.
Real test will be on monday
It is expected that 'Brahmastra' will cross 100 crores in the weekend. Its good advance booking is also pointing in this direction. However, the real test of the film will start on Monday. As far as the review is concerned, it is a problem for the makers of 'Brahmastra' because the reviews of the film are not very good. Most people on social media are telling its VFX to be ineffective.
