The Italian company Ferrari, famous for making luxury sports cars, has launched a new sports car in India. The company has launched the Ferrari 296 GTB in the Indian market with a price of Rs 5.4 crore (ex-showroom). Ferrari has introduced a new supercar to make up for the lack of the F8 Tributo. Ferrari claims that the 296 GTB is the first road car to be powered by a six-cylinder engine. The company has also given hybrid technology in the latest car, which saves fuel. This supercar can run at a speed of 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds.

The name 296 GTB given in the new sports car refers to the car's 2,992cc, six-cylinder engine. On the other hand, the Gran Turismo Berlinetta (GTB) marks the latest addition to Ferrari's 1950s sportscar lineup.

The latest sportscar 296 GTB gets the power of 645hp, 3.0 liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Ferrari has also supported 166hp electric motor in it. Ferrari's new supercar accelerates from 0-100kmph in 2.9 seconds. The top speed of the Ferrari 296 GTB car is 330kph. The power of Ferrari's new car is transferred through an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
