Fierce fire in Bangladesh's Capital Dhaka, fire department team engaged in Rescue operations
A massive fire breaks out in 1500 shops in a shopping complex in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. However, there is no news of any casualty in this. This is the second incident of fire in a month.
An official said that the fire had taken a very dangerous form. Although there is no information about any casualty in this yet, but it is difficult to get an idea of how many people are trapped inside. Actually, the fire broke out in the morning, during which many shops of the shopping complex had opened.
Rapid spread of fire
Fire service official Shahjahan Sikdar said that the fire was spreading rapidly in Tang Bazar, so the army was called in for help and around 28 fire units were present at the spot. It is not yet known what caused the fire, but negligence and poor industrial maintenance are believed to be the main reasons for the incident. In recent years, hundreds of people have lost their lives in fires in Bangladesh.
Second incident of arson
Let us tell you, this is the second incident of arson this month. Earlier on 4 April, a huge fire broke out in a crowded shopping complex in Dhaka, in which about 5,000 shops were gutted. Several firemen were also injured during the incident. It took about 75 hours for the firefighters and the army to bring the fire under control.
Shopkeepers had suffered a lot in this arson. Actually, the shopkeepers had kept a lot of stock of clothes on the occasion of Eid, which was burnt to ashes.
