Queen Elizabeth II: Queen's funeral will have to wait for 30 hours, 5 km long queue outside the Westminster Hall

People continue to reach London to pay their last respects to Queen Elizabeth II. The city is expected to be full by September 19. It is being said that more than one million people from across the country and the world will gather in Elizabeth's Funeral. According to reports, people may have to wait for 30 hours for the last glimpse.

The Queen's last visit was taken out in Scotland on Monday. During this, a large number of people gathered to bid a final farewell to the Queen. At the same time, members of the royal family along with King Charles were seen walking behind the queen's coffin.

Queen's body to be kept at Westminster Hall in London

The Queen's body will be laid at Westminster Hall in London at 5 pm on Wednesday. Next Monday i.e. 19th September will be kept till 6.30 am. People may have to wait in queues up to three miles (5 km) long to see the queen on the day of the funeral. 

Common people will be able to pay tribute to the Queen for 4 days

Queen Elizabeth's body will arrive at Westminster Hall in London on Wednesday. Common people will be able to pay their last respects to the Queen for four days here. For this, arrangements have been made for portable toilets, barriers and other necessary things. Some fans have already reserved their places.

Westminster Abbey Hall will be open to the public day and night from 5 p.m. Wednesday until 6:30 a.m. the following Monday. It is being said that a large number of people are expected to be present during the last darshan of the Queen. At the same time, due to bad weather, people can also be deprived of getting the last glimpse. 

Died on 8 september

The Queen breathed her last on the late night of 8 September. According to royal tradition, the funeral of Queen Elizabeth will take place on the 10th day i.e. on 19 September. At present, the traditions related to his funeral are going on. Queen Elizabeth's body was brought from Balmoral Castle in Scotland to Buckingham Palace in London.

The Queen's body reached Holyroodhouse Palace in Edinburgh, Scotland, at around 4 pm on 11 September. On Monday, 12 September, the Queen's body was carried in a procession to St Giles' Cathedral in Scotland. In this procession, members of the royal family along with King Charles were seen walking behind the coffin of the Queen.

Officials said the Queen's coffin was taken to Holyroodhouse Palace amid tight security. According to tradition, members of the royal family guard the coffin of the Queen during the procession.

During this time no one was allowed to take pictures or make videos. The Crown of Scotland is placed on his coffin upon arrival at St Giles' Cathedral. The coffin of the Queen will remain here till 5 pm on Wednesday. 

Funeral to be held on September 19

Queen Elizabeth's funeral will take place on 19 September. His funeral procession will end four days later at a grand state funeral at Westminster Abbey in London. The last time Sir Winston Churchill was cremated in Britain was in 1965.
