The couple, who tied the knot in December 2016, have reportedly been living separately for some time now. According to the Hindustan Times report, the two filed for divorce in 2020 in the time of the pandemic, due to which the final proceedings got delayed.

A source close to the couple confirmed that everything got delayed due to the pandemic. They will sign the divorce papers on October 6. According to the website source, the problems between the couple started "just a few days after their wedding".
