RRR new record: screening in the world's largest theatre of US, 932 tickets sold out in 98 seconds

RRR is about to be released for 10 months but still the popularity of the film is not taking its name. The film was recently screened at a Chinese theater in Los Angeles. The special thing about this theater is that it is the world's largest IMAX theater in which 932 people can sit together and watch a movie.

When the booking of tickets for rRR was started, all the tickets were sold out in just 98 seconds. According to the organizer of the film's screening, Beyond Fest, this is a very historic moment for any Indian film.

Giving this information on social media, Beyond Fest wrote, 'It is official and historical that all tickets for RRR at TCL Chinese Theater were sold out in just 98 seconds. No Indian film has achieved this feat before because a film like RRR has never been made before. 

Nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars

The Ramcharan-Junior NTR starrer film RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, was not only a super hit at the box office, but the film was also appreciated by the critics. At the same time, it has got a lot of popularity in foreign countries as well.

This film is being liked the most in America and Japan. Its song Natu-Natu (Nacho-Nacho) has been shortlisted for the Oscar in the Best Original Song category. 

Worldwide collected more than 1200 crores

RRR, released on 24 March 2022, created many new records of worldwide earnings. The film had earned more than 1200 crores worldwide. Out of this, 800 crores was earned in India only.

It is the first film in India to earn Rs 1000 crores in a month of its release. The film was released in 5 languages ​​Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. 

Nominated for Best Non English Film

RRR has also received a nomination at the prestigious Golden Globe Awards. This nomination has been given in the category of Best Non English Film. For this category of the Golden Globe Awards to be held on January 11, 2023, 5 films from around the world will be in the race.

Hindi film Gangubai Kathiawadi, Kannada film Kantara and India's official entry to Oscars Chello Show were also in this race but only RRR got the nomination.
