Let us tell you, Burkina Faso is one of the West African countries where violent Islamic insurgency is going on. In the last eight years, incidents of terrorism have increased and thousands of people have been killed and more than 2 million civilians have been displaced.
In fact, last year the army staged two coups in the country. Now the army is threatening to take over the control of the country. Since 2012, almost all incidents of violence are being witnessed in this area. The violence later spread to neighboring Burkina Faso and Niger, destabilizing the entire region.
