Star batsman Virat Kohli and Delhi Capitals Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly refused to shake hands after a tight Indian Premier League (IPL) clash at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday. In RCB's 23-run win over DC, Kohli played a key role in Bangalore's return to winning form after back-to-back losses to Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders.

Players and support staff from both teams shook hands after the game as a sign of sportsmanship. But a video of Kohli and Ganguly not shaking hands went viral on social media. Ganguly shakes hands with other players and shook hands with everyone in line. Kohli also spoke to DC head coach Ricky Ponting but not Sourav Ganguly.

This video spread like a rapid fire on social media. Some onlookers believed that Virat Kohli deliberately ignored Sourav Ganguly while others claimed that it was a mere coincidence as the RCB batsman was busy talking to Ponting.

Virat Kohli's innings gives victory to RCB

In the 20th match played on Saturday in IPL 2023, Royal Challengers Bangalore made a comeback by defeating Delhi Capitals by 23 runs. At the same time, Delhi has faced a 5th consecutive defeat.
