The difficulties of Indian Wrestling Federation President and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh are going to increase. After a long struggle of women wrestlers, Delhi Police has registered two FIRs against the MP.

The female wrestler had been demanding registration of an FIR against the MP for a long time. For this, a protest is being held at Jantar Mantar for the second time. When the matter reached the Supreme Court, the Delhi Police registered an FIR.

Senior police officer says that on the complaint given by the teenager, a case has been registered in Pasco and molestation. While the second FIR has been registered under the section of molestation.

On 25 April, the Supreme Court agreed to hear the petition of seven women wrestlers. These women wrestlers had demanded from the court to register an FIR against the President of Wrestling Federation of India and MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

During the hearing, the court had said that the wrestlers have made serious allegations of sexual harassment in the petition, in which case a hearing on the matter is necessary. The court had issued a notice to the Delhi Police for not registering an FIR against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

On this, the Delhi Police had said that before registering an FIR, it is necessary to investigate the allegations made by women wrestlers. During the hearing in the court on Friday, the Delhi Police said that it will file an FIR on Friday on the complaint of women wrestlers.

What's the whole matter?

Wrestlers have been protesting at Jantar Mantar since April 23 over no action on their complaint against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. These include many wrestlers including Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat and Sakshi Malik. Wrestlers allege that women wrestlers are sexually abused. Along with this, the president of the federation has also been accused of dictatorship and arbitrariness.
