A 'Suspicious' Afghan Man entered PM Shahbaz Sharif's house; arrested
Pakistan News: There was chaos after an Afghani suspect entered the house of PM Shehbaz Sharif.
The question is arising in everyone's mind as to how a suspicious person reached there despite tight security arrangements at the residence of the Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan including the PM's residence.
A suspected Afghan man has been arrested in Pakistan. Actually, this suspicious person entered the house of Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday. However, it was arrested in time and handed over to the Counter Terrorism Department.
At present, it is being inquired as to with what intention it had entered the PM's house. This information has been given by the local news channel.
Security personnel engaged in interrogation
Islamabad Police has transferred the suspect to an undisclosed location. The news agency quoted sources as saying that the security personnel posted at the PM House reportedly said that the suspect is claiming to reach the PM House through three different routes. Further inquiry is still going on.
CCTV footage searched during investigation
The report said that after the arrest, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), police and other security agencies are interrogating the suspect. The news agency said security agencies have obtained the CCTV footage and are trying to ascertain how the suspect managed to enter the PM House despite the tight security. A Pakistani journalist has shared the photo and video of the suspect.
Eight terrorists arrested from Lahore
Eight terrorists belonging to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Islamic State (IS) have also been arrested in Pakistan's Lahore on Saturday. According to media reports, several explosives and banned material have also been found from the terrorists who have been seized. These terrorists were trying to target religious places.
