A hijacked UK ship has been abandoned under mysterious circumstances off the United Arab Emirates (UAE) coast in the Gulf of Oman. Earlier, information was being received about this ship being hijacked and taken to an unknown place. After coming to know about the case of its forcible taking, other agencies along with Britain were also active.
The UK Navy has said that their ship has been abandoned in the Gulf of Oman. It is not yet clear who has taken the responsibility of hijacking the ship. Maritime intelligence company Dryad Global has said that this Panama-flagged oil carrier is the Agefalt Princess. It is from Glory International. This company has also not commented on any kind.
It is to be known that this incident has happened at a time when Iran's nuclear deal with Western countries is going on. Earlier on Tuesday, United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations warned that an incident was taking place and later said a ship was being hijacked.
