Superstar Krishna Death: Mahesh Babu's family mourning demise of superstar Krishna, shared an emotional post

Veteran Actor Krishna Death: Krishna Ghattamaneni, father of South Superstar Mahesh Babu, breathed his last at 4 am on Tuesday. He was suffering from cardiac arrest. Krishna Ghattamaneni was a well-known superstar of the Telugu industry.

There has been a wave of mourning in the film industry due to his death. Many artists including Rajinikanth, Jr NTR, Kamal Haasan have expressed grief over the death of Krishna Ghattamaneni. Meanwhile, the Ghattamaneni family has shared an emotional post on his demise. This statement has been shared on the official page of GMB Entertainment. 

'Goodbyes don't last forever'

The post said, 'It is with great sadness to inform the passing of Krishna Garu. Not only on the movie screen but he was a superstar in many ways. He will live on forever through his work and through all the people whose lives he influenced. He loved us very much and we will miss him every day. But as the saying goes, goodbyes are not forever, until we meet again. 

Apart from Mahesh Babu and Namrita Shirodkar, this statement has been issued on behalf of their children Gautam, Sitara and Mahesh Babu's sisters Priyadarshini, Manjula and Padmavati.

Krishna Garu was honored with Padma Bhushan

Krishna Ghattamaneni acted in more than 350 films. He was not only a well-known actor, but also earned a name as a director and producer. He won the hearts of people with his work. In 2009, he was honored with the Padma Bhushan Award. Earlier in 1997, he was given the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award.
