Vidya Vishwakarma was born and brought up in Ranchi, Jharkhand. She completed her graduation from Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore in English. She is currently pursuing her Masters in English from Dr B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi. She is a bibliophile in search of identity through words and believes in being a better human being with each step she takes. She loves writing and doodling in her leisure, poetry too is an escape for her and her expressions.

When asked about, 'What change would you like to see in the field of literature?' Here is what she had to answer, "The one change that I would like to bring in the field of content writing is to make people realise the importance of content. No profession is small or big, all the professions require hard work and time. It is the same in the case of content writing and it needs to be treated with the same respect moreover, the act of unpaid work too should be taken into strict consideration as it in a lot of cases infringes the copyright of the writer."
