'People abroad are making fun of Pakistan... 'Imran Khan expressed concern over the works of the Govt.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan on Friday expressed his concern about the actions of the government. He said that people are making fun of Pakistan abroad.

Making fun of Pakistan – Imran Khan

Imran Khan tweeted, "They don't understand the dangerous ruling jokers who are tarnishing Pakistan's image abroad with a fake FIR against a former PM for using the words 'Dirty Harry' and 'Psychopath' and with absurd allegations of treason." are! They are making fun of Pakistan.

He also warned that foreign investors may get a message after the Pakistani government's decision not to accept the Supreme Court verdict on the delay in Punjab elections.

The government itself is rejecting the SC order

Also, what message is being sent to foreign investors when the government itself is not accepting the Supreme Court judgements, he tweeted? Investors want security of contracts and that means trust in the judicial system. What confidence can they have when the government itself is overruling the Supreme Court order? It happens in Banana Republic.

Khan's remarks came after the federal government sought the resignation of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial, claiming that his position had become "controversial" following Justice Athar Minallah's note on the matter.

Justice Minallah said that the Supreme Court's suo moto notice on the delay in the announcement of provincial assembly elections was dismissed by a majority of 4-3.

The decision was rejected by the government, which termed it a "minority decision", with the National Assembly also passing a resolution against the top court.

The government's refusal to accept the Supreme Court's decision has raised concerns about the state of democracy and the judicial system in the country.

PTI chief claimed

The pTI chief also claimed that the sedition cases filed against him and the imprisonment of senior party leader Ali Amin Gandapur are attempts to undermine his party's ability to contest elections.

He tweeted that the sedition case against me - this is the 144th case against me and an attempt to weaken our party's ability to contest elections, with the imprisonment of our senior leader Ali Amin. All this is part of London's plan in which Nawaz Sharif was assured that PTI will be crushed with fake cases and its leadership before elections.
