Renowned Indian calligrapher Shipra Malhotra made a remarkable impression at “The Miracle of Quran – International Islamic Calligraphy Art Exhibition”, held from October 8–19, 2025, across Tugu Persatuan and UPTD Museum dan Taman Budaya in Sulawesi Tenggara, Indonesia.

Curated by Mr. Gori Yusuf Husen (India) and directed by Mr. Dipo Khairul Islami (Indonesia), the exhibition brought together master calligraphers from over 25 countries, including India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Malaysia, and the USA, under the banner of Lembaga Kaligrafi Alquran (LEMKAS).

Shipra Malhotra’s showcased work, inspired by Chapter 72, Verse 10 of the Holy Quran — “Have patience with the erroneous and ward the evil with the best” — beautifully embodied the values of patience, compassion, and moral strength. Created on handmade paper with acrylics, her artwork symbolized the harmony of human imperfection and divine guidance.

Also representing India was artist Shamma Rizvi, Urdu Scholar , whose calligraphic piece reflected devotion and tranquility through graceful strokes and spiritual symbolism, honoring the sacred essence of the Quran.

Both artists’ participation highlighted India’s growing presence in global calligraphy circles, blending artistic mastery with soulful expression and cultural harmony
