Australia cuts diplomatic ties with Iran, expels ambassador after allegations of anti-Semitic attacks
Australia has severed diplomatic ties with Iran and expelled the Iranian ambassador from the country. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has declared Iran's Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organisation. The Australian Security Intelligence Organisation has blamed Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for anti-Semitic attacks.

The rift in the relations between Australia and Iran seems to be increasing. Australia has broken its diplomatic relations with Iran. Along with this, the Iranian ambassador has also been expelled from the country.

Claim of Iran's involvement
Actually Australia has accused Iran of carrying out anti-Semitic attacks. Louis Continental Kitchen in Sydney was attacked on October 20 last year and Adas Israel Synagogue in Melbourne was attacked on December 6. It has been claimed that the Iranian government was involved in these attacks.
Australian Prime Minister Albanese has described these attacks as weakening social unity. He says that efforts are being made to create differences in Australia.
Iranian ambassador ordered to leave the country
Albanese said Iranian Ambassador Ahmad Sadeghi and three other diplomatic staff have been given seven days to leave the country. This is the first time since World War II that Australia has expelled a foreign ambassador. The Iranian government did not immediately comment.
