Hamas hanged 5 people, two had relations with Israel, said - we have every right to protect ourselves

Hamas, the terrorist organization that governs Gaza, executed five people on Sunday morning. Two of these had links with Israel. Hamas said in a statement that they have every right to defend themselves. It also said that the two people who were hanged today were both guilty of sending Hamas rocket launch pads and other confidential information to Israel. All the convicts were given all options to defend themselves legally, the statement said. He was hanged only after failing in this. 

Information about the ages of all those hanged has been given by Hamas' Interior Ministry, but their names have not been disclosed. One of the culprits of giving confidential information to Israel was born in 1978 and the other in 1968. Both of them were residents of Khan Younis area under Hamas. Hamas's statement said that in 1991, Gaya was arrested while transporting confidential information to Israel. Details of Hamas' rocket launch pad were also recovered from his possession. Another was arrested in 2001 on charges of transporting confidential information to Israel.
